One of my favorite places in the world is Nashville, Tennessee. I grew up listening to my parent’s music, Shania Twain, Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks, etc. When I was in high school, I went to my first country concert and begged my mom to take me to Nashville. Since then, I’ve been about 4 times, and I finally found some of my staple restaurants. One of my favorite go-to’s is Hattie B’s Hot Chicken.
Hattie B’s has 3 locations in Nashville, and I got to visit the one in Midtown by Vanderbilt. We waited in a wrap around line, for about 30 minutes, in the rain. However, it was so worth it.
The famous “Nashville Hot Chicken” ranges from 6 levels of heat. As a spice lover myself, the level “hot” was just the right amount for me. My group ordered the chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, mac and cheese, and the dirty bird fries. Everything was so delicious, and I try to make it to Hattie B’s every time I visit.
It’s definitely a tourist destination, but I would recommend anyone who visits Nashville try this. They have 9 locations across the US, but it just felt right eating it in Nashville.
